Iguanodon was a large Ornithopod with an estimated length of 33 feet and weighing around 3 tons. It lived in the Cretaceous period and it was both quadrupedal and bipedal in nature. It was named so after its iguana like teeth. It had characteristic thumb spikes that is likely used in defense against predators.
